As for Brucies decision. Why did he sell Morrison? God knows? But more baffling, where was his replacement? Bruce stated he wanted 4 strikers and has done, even since last season after being caught short following the Force's lone spell ended prematurely!

Did the board force Brucie's hand to sell Morrison with him being out of contract in the summer, to get what cash they could?

From what we were told, Morrison wanted to leave to get 1st team football.

Ironically he would have probably played more games than ever this season if he had stayed.

Although he wasnt the most clinical striker, he had pace and that enabled us to vary our game.

The problem with Mozza was that we played him like we play Heskey and every other dammn striker we ever have. Lump the ball up and knock it down/on for a n other

I agree - especially as morrison and heskey had gelled really well up until pandiani had arrived, IMO which may well of continued well into this season - Bruce dropped one here I thinks

Its all a learning curve though I suppose, one big massive long curve that takes a long time to complete. This is what you have when you are managed by a young manager, they must learn quickly, especially at the highest level because raw commitment wont win you the league, you need to be clever.

Hopefully SB is learning all the time and hopefully he has the capacity to improve himself as well as the team.

Ever since I've known Bruce be at Blues, hes always said that he wants 4 first team strikers! When has he actually had that?

At the start of last season, we had:
Heskey, Morrison, Forse (loan), and Bruce looked to bring in another.
The Forse returned and we signed Yorke.....leaving 3 again!

We signed Blake, and allowed Yorke to leave...and bought in Pandiani in Jan. Finally giving us 4 strikers for the run in.

In the summer we sell Blake, bring in the Force, bring in Pandiani giving us 4, then we sell Morrison at the end of Aug, taking us back to 3. Those consisting of one fit striker, one coming back from serious injury, which the manager is fully aware of and the other missing all of pre-season.

Clearly a lack of common sense was missing here. Surely a replacement should have been bought in prior to Morrison going? Even have bought in another striker and sold Morrison in Jan? Just an idea, but lack of planning, lack of foresight, lack of common sense springs to mind. Or was it just lack of funds, where the board forced Bruce to sell before buying and therefore not giving enough time to bring in a replacement?

Either way it was a poor show by Blues as a whole. ....and a contributing factor to our in-efficent start to the season.
Now after signing Sutton we have 4 strikers. ...and we're still after a pacey one. Go figure!

the only other explantion for it is behind the scene problems with the player or the club forcing to sell for wages or transfer dough.

Judging by that statement I hardly think your old enough to......and i don't mean for you to be gay. Thats your perogative, I'm not homophobic.

But obviously the excitement got too much for you and affected your spelling. Well done boy, seems like you may have popped your cherry! When you've calmed down a bit and grown a few hairs in the right places maybe you can do us all a favour and grow up!
